Who We Are
Sarah has a BA Hons QTS with Drama from Bishop Grosseste College. She has thirteen years experience in teaching and leading in the Foundation Stage and has worked in a variety of settings and for both Salford and North Yorkshire LEAs. She has been responsible for the planning and delivery of in-service training on the Foundation Stage Classroom and outdoor play and has had her teaching featured in Nursery World Magazine.
Carolyn has over twenty five years experience as a nursery nurse working in the North Yorkshire area. She recently completed her BA Hons Early Childhood Education at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Carolyn and Sarah were delighted to be named Leeds Met start up Business 2008 and Yorkshire Universities Regional Enterprise Awards 2008 winners.
The annual Regional Enterprise Awards, supported by Yorkshire Forward celebrates the excellence of University start-up companies in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Mini-Roles represented Leeds Met in the Regional Enterprise Awards Business Plan Competition after recently winning their Business Start-Up Business Plan competition. Carolyn and Sarah fought off competition from ten other Yorkshire Universities to claim the regional title.
